Animal crackers

I tried to keep Easton occupied the other night while I got ready and let him feed himself animal crackers... hmmmm big mistake especially when the bag is almost gone and it is mostly crumbs.

He loved it and helped me vacuum it up.

And yes he is VERY cute!

Proud wife

Last Saturday Bill ran in his first race, the Pat's Run 4.2 mile race. This is a man that HATES running and just started actually doing cardio at the gym about a month ago. I tried telling him it is so different to run outside compared to a treadmill and I thought for sure he would be huffing and puffing at the end... no way. Bill finished with a great time of 35 minutes and wasn't even sore the next day.
Bill's dad ran it too and did great! Don just decides to run in races and marathons the morning of the event which is incredible to me!

We are running it as a family next year... maybe even with the Wallers.

Getting closer

Easton is getting closer and closer to walking. He is a kid that likes to do things his way and in his time. Two days ago he figured out that he can stand by himself and will walk with you only holding one hand. Sooo close! I can't wait for him to walk!

Something new...

So I think that I have a thing for wreaths for your front door. I really like them and I have made it my goal (kinda weird I know) to have one for each major holiday or season. I was trying to find something for summertime and found this awesome wreath on Moda Bake Shop.
I bought all of the supplies and since I am NOT naturally crafty and can only kinda copy... I changed it into something I could handle. I think it is pretty cute. I learned these great flowers at Enrichment night.

Cute boy

I love being a mom. It is the hardest but most rewarding thing that I have ever done. He has been so cute and fun the past couple days, so I had to post so I would remember them.

First fat lip from nose diving out of the laundry basket.

Relaxing and watching a movie with me.

Digging and playing in the dirt.... okay maybe eating it too.

Busy as ever!

We have been busy lately and here is what we have been up to...

Alex and Brittini got married ! Sorry you can't see Al's face but Brit just looks so pretty. (:

Easton and I have been enjoying the weather and playing in our lovely weed filled backyard. I honestly try to keep on them but they are terrible. He is screaming with joy for sitting in the lawn chair. And I know the snotty nose is a nice touch.

We had Ella over for a swim date and check out her cute bikini. I know Easton noticed it!

Easton learned to talk on the phone. He normally will do this for a while but it is the best I could get on camera.

It was my mom's bday and we went to Freestone park. Easton wore out his grandma and aunt Chris on the slide. As soon as he comes down he turns around and tries to climb up.

Easton has learned how to throw tantrums that are pretty impressive... I am NOT posting pictures until I figure out how to stop them. Because only then will I think they are funny! (:

It has been a fun and tiring couple of weeks!
