Easton has been so into Spiderman for some reason so he was thrilled to dress up like "Spiderman who helps people" which we taught him since he was trying to chase people {mainly Ally and Asher} with his mask on. We had to learn that Spiderman is nice not scary. Since Asher doesn't have a say yet in costumes, he was a spider.<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgmnzQsUN1YCRk30vaqJQP4_egZYhOlMeSO8AyDbJE9Yn-bKcV1UOhR9sB81Mbe3I8NotBvsWrknMOr1StJrGX2M39-E0ivLwILD94GF2zeger4IGrBm5bHEA2FSJAaynVvHcTFTct6kBeb/s1600/DSCF1616.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5671738864472249714" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgmnzQsUN1YCRk30vaqJQP4_egZYhOlMeSO8AyDbJE9Yn-bKcV1UOhR9sB81Mbe3I8NotBvsWrknMOr1StJrGX2M39-E0ivLwILD94GF2zeger4IGrBm5bHEA2FSJAaynVvHcTFTct6kBeb/s320/DSCF1616.JPG" /></a><br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiF7Mv7cYUB0RUHhWx98_s_ho0q-0L5pe1i1hnFiuSgmfXVV4L_p41vm82JVdIjJnsqtlSjbkgFD9lmAXWbRldqE7hy7DQsecE7BI_VPtEn5CbhRKt5qVjp5PjcVlXBInj2bxJ4z9UhLIqR/s1600/DSCF1613.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5671738861723740338" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiF7Mv7cYUB0RUHhWx98_s_ho0q-0L5pe1i1hnFiuSgmfXVV4L_p41vm82JVdIjJnsqtlSjbkgFD9lmAXWbRldqE7hy7DQsecE7BI_VPtEn5CbhRKt5qVjp5PjcVlXBInj2bxJ4z9UhLIqR/s320/DSCF1613.JPG" /></a><br />We tried to get Easton to say, "check out these guns" but he kept forgetting...still cute though.<br /><br /><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5671735619512486578" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiZGF5c8Ks6lMSMxgpDlbp3Ut8KPtTmFCc71ntZZKroT6JjSaFcMK9iWT-pr05iIZl5jtB7mFXSUNUvTpKbQopG935nDdvVsmtLq7V8RfuSTgbfk3XLr-JFed-NQpR5g6o4PMzZVJ25dmah/s320/DSCF1619.JPG" /> Bill kept making pirate faces but the rest of us look good. <br />
<br />
<br /><div>Easton has had such a great summer even though it is deathly hot! He is so busy, crazy, energetic, mischevious but lovey and cute which save his life most days.</div>
<br />
<br /><ul>
<br />
<br /><li>He got to do swimming lessons and learned so much. It makes me feel better since he is so fearless with the water. He can hold his breath, come up for air, kick his feet, find the wall and hold on. </li>
<br />
<br /><li>We went to the circus as a family and he loved it. He just stared and would clap and dance to the music.</li>
<br />
<br /><li>Easton is potty trained and caught on so quickly. We sometimes have accidents when he is playing but usually no problems.</li>
<br />
<br /><li>He is talking so much and says hilarious things. Like we have him sleep in big t-shirts sometimes and one night he looks down and says, "i a pretty princess" HA!</li>
<br />
<br /><li>He loves to talk to Asher and talks to him in a high-pitch baby voice. </li>
<br />
<br /><li>He likes to be in pictures and take pictures, thank goodness for digital cameras so I can delete all the not-so-great shots</li>
<br />
<br /><li>Easton always wants me to paint hid toenails when I am doing mine. So he is wearing a bright shade of pink.</li>
<br />
<br /><li>He likes to help Bill with the yard and pushes the lawnmower or uses the leaf blower</li>
<br />
<br /><li>Loves just wearing his undies around the house</li>
<br />
<br /><li>He wants to do things for himself, he says "my do it" for everything!<img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5645667738863484338" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgLl1vbnIHyxHkkFR1SzyFCy8xleBdnCgCo7BtXB-a36EDgKOQ9q39QJb0i3-zJWpjXjfpsWMcKk4blIj6B8bU4ldGcqSrjWWG0Rrni5D9t9tZqwu5M2vGLGoNIuVnFs_0hYcX2sSY7sP5x/s320/DSCF1029.JPG" /><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5645667734867633666" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgMakIKmNjFNsrQrGTHbrRRGkHa__AgVTRwV64e72_mibEOK0SNJchn9Z_ISLlmF05YyPDfOH9dgt97u4Om9t1efK_Ybb7S_xaweRdBinHWHfRu6GkXNDx6ZdBRgA9klBXdkrvDvlcsI9g3/s320/DSCF1027.JPG" /></li></ul>

<br />
<br /><p>He is becoming such a big and independent boy but still is a cuddler and says to me "rock you" every night for bed. {of course I don't mind that at all}

<br />
<br /><div>Asher is growing up so fast that it is kinda starting to scare me! He is such a sweet boy and is a big baby like his brother was. Easton loves Asher and the feeling is definitely mutual. Here is what he is up to now:
<br /></div>
<br /><ul>
<br /><li>Asher weighs 19 lbs 9 oz (80%) and is 28 1/4 inches long (92%)</li>
<br />
<br /><li>He sits up mostly by himself but still needs a pillow behind him</li>
<br />
<br /><li>He is trying to crawl, he gets on his hands and knees and rocks or in push up position</li>
<br />
<br /><li>He can lunge forward after something he really wants {like the computer}</li>
<br />
<br /><li>Smiles for everyone but only laughs really good for Easton</li>
<br />
<br /><li>Has the deepest blue eyes and blondish hair with the best colic in the front</li>
<br />
<br /><li>Asher is eating solids 3 times a day and we are starting to give him some real foods which he loves </li>
<br />
<br /><li>He has 2 teeth on the bottom and 2 poking thru on the top {I think I can see his other 2 on the top coming next}</li>
<br />
<br /><li>He is starting to sleep thru the night, hurray!</li>
<br />
<br /><li>Asher falls asleep really easily, no need to rock or anything. He likes to rub his face in his blanket and with a binkie he is out.</li>
<br />
<br /><li>He babbles, making spitty noises, loves to slap the tile floor</li>
<br />
<br /><li>When you put him in his bumbo or if you are holding him, he frantically trys to grab at anything near by to chew on
<br /></li></ul>
<br />
<br /><p>I just can't believe that he is already 6 months and we love him more and more each day. He is so busy and interested in the world and everyone around him. We love him so much and are so happy he is a part of our family.<img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 213px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5644929631770327426" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgFAMm1ncybTnpfCbErRoBX8v4ynXoswOo-elcGCWshIYIBr884gStg_WHRc7lRhmwCNReepa7yEJYUY3DSM8IlLW71N1ZM-YDnRLW5wJr8FfeC4Du-6w3XFeqxsX90DVKvT8moDJKa_3WB/s320/DSC_0490.JPG" /></p></div>

I secretly wish he laughed at me too but I think it is so great how much he loves his brother. This video shows exactly their relationship. I love how Easton keeps stopping to pose for a picture too, it is classic.

Easton gives me a run for my money. He will push and test me on pretty much everything I ask him to do all day long. He used to take naps and go to bed easy but he is pushing back there too. Sheesh! He always wants to know where he is and what he is doing. When we go to get him out of his crib, Easton says "morning Asher, long nap" in like a sweet but high pitch voice. It is so funny.<br /><br /><p>Easton copies pretty much everything that you say and is talking more and more. He asks "what doing" about anything that he sees. If we are reading a book, he asks what each thing on the page is doing. If we are watching a movie, he asks "what buzz doing" or anything else. Curious kiddo.</p><br /><p>He likes to test what he can get away with which can get very tiring for mommy. So I have to say extra prayers these days to keep up with him and be consistent.</p><br /><p>He loves going to playgrounds and splash pads to play with other kids. It is a cute museum with a good play area for the kiddos. Well, we are leaving and I am feeling like an awesome mom for planning a fun day when Easton trips right over one of these.<img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 259px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 194px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5595574206532282098" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiBD8-XJhlU9VKEgVYaCNv_lnXiTHCro5Rs3xTKWQ5mxO6eEn7qgtdCiGQU17hwZDl-TIj_bF44Vxxy7w_hNd-Pk6sh6bTtEAZQwXzTFl9WQ7du9kuFUX3qfvbk1uV4gnmc7fU9gFMJ3DM0/s320/cactus.jpg" /> <br /><div><br /><div><br /><div>There was another cactus right next to it that, thankfully, his face just brushed. His diaper protected his bum but his poor legs took a beating. Whew! Having 2 kids is a major adjustment but I think that we are back into our regular swing of things... just everything takes me twice as long. <br /><div><br /><div><br /><div><br /><div><br /><div><br /><div>Asher is 6 weeks old now and is starting to have happier days with his reflux. Not sure what changed but the past 2 days have been better. He even started smiling and cooing. He is about 12 pounds already and I think he is really long. His arms are too long for every shirt I put him in. I think that he will have blue eyes and his hair is getting darker from the strawberry blonde.</div><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5589615637184098706" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgualYn9oZYsG56MJA1stAQgvAmDAW4cEfVuMlhEsUIo0doUxSVz_o4w4UQZw3rLCt4PqqualTuVWi03Oel9d-ugHQ43-jNl05damoD1ZalVhctaEtJh-A1xHHXudSbj22DOzuLwYvUvbPM/s320/DSCF0290.JPG" /> <img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5589624090531282722" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjkzo2IkYCR7N87KqyKaiwbAbgVutamEVxOXWBEqad5DtG4nI49q0dtqpcFqiUxxB8ddhzFSvVht1rZa6WyzKrrZZKaP2bqYGlWSuu6b3wAW-KzHT4MNibHnDBnW4dclE_W-8nhAuoD4fdq/s320/DSCF0301.JPG" /> <br /><div></div><br /><div>Easton is such a sweet big brother. He sleeps through everything even Easton's yelling and playing. He has the greatest colics in his hair and looks just like me when I was a baby. At first I was sad that he didn't look like Easton but now I love that he is so different. Asher burps like a man and loved his first bath.<br /><br /><br /><div><div>He is definitely a cuddlebug and I hope it will last past the newborn stage like it did with Easton. <img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 213px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5577116721423913042" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjfFLN4UJXMwh86l9OJ-s0ddHO-j_63BIbchEU10H02vRCTksNZJR9YE-LSg8SAsHLvfQ1uCNIk-43d2nRHh5gvIMsX7wVflJrvGkDnj9KJa0NaMjLztjTKynn6eFzTjDHODyAdlo9TM_LY/s320/DSC_2258.JPG" /><br /><br /><div><div></div><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 213px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5577116716324235010" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg-_cN5B49EJhLHZg08vuZkJ2IfHCy-s-mlvZ4V7q6J-V0o_cd4zxifd4f94UlnmPtrpKsAG7imGLEcy2kCAhHUy5g1bU-_pEnJGxZLy6G43RFdGdfUTetAuXoeOE7efcqo-oKg5_kOIVZB/s320/DSC_2275.JPG" /><br /><br /><div>Easton is such a sweet big brother. We were worried that he wouldn't keep on his Shrek ears but I think he liked it and kept them on all night. He loved the trunk or treat and ate at least 3 tootsie rolls with the wrapper on. I would find the ends of the wrappers all soggy with teeth marks. On Halloween we went to the Jackman's to trick or treat with Blake and Ella. I couldn't get all three of them in one place for a picture. The best part of the night was when we knocked on a door and they opened it... Ella and Easton walked right in. Meagan and I had to retrieve our kids from these people's living room. Nice!</div><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 213px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5535077851149255890" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhqZVqNOKxzhU8rue5V3a4NBbO2oqwfa2iTJyzLgnDOuSz73T7oNM_Ulae_vRwH9H2WbIft52jap18hEudwgSD1xsKtP0JvdKGs2xr7cOGbLYTw6cg0bvpylkc1iD2p5rDCM-zk876Wwo92/s320/DSC_1348.JPG" /><br /><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 213px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5535077845742082066" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg4Tkqt1YjWUq2-NwWPGExNvJc8SqRlGbOLtTf5BfGcXAPxhPwFbHv2c_6S1lWtnCszWBmoD-4kytI_M3Pb0TJGdLmd7p12fFM5ru2-O0WQGski36fBqlY6E1IFraUCM7imY4-xflMisf3A/s320/DSC_1372.JPG" /></div>Katy, Bill and Eastonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16159516455122970018noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4222238497138247517.post-27107811850394794712010-11-02T14:52:00.000-07:002010-11-02T15:05:08.948-07:00Dare DevilOn Saturday my wonderful husband decided to stay home from working and help me out with Easton. I hadn't finished his Halloween costume, barely started my talk for church the next day, the list went on and on. So Bill and Easton played together and this is what they figured out.<br /><br />My son, Easton Danger, is a dare devil... you think I did this by naming him something bold... I blame genetics, on Bill's side.
