My boys

Time is flying by and I am tired! Whew! Having 2 kids is a major adjustment but I think that we are back into our regular swing of things... just everything takes me twice as long.

Asher is 6 weeks old now and is starting to have happier days with his reflux. Not sure what changed but the past 2 days have been better. He even started smiling and cooing. He is about 12 pounds already and I think he is really long. His arms are too long for every shirt I put him in. I think that he will have blue eyes and his hair is getting darker from the strawberry blonde.

Easton is such a sweet big brother. He loves to give hugs and kisses to everyone especially Asher. He always wants to know where Asher he says, " Go, Asher, Go?" When he gives Asher hugs he goes, " ahhh". It is so funny. He copies everything that we say, so we have to be careful.

We are still bathing the boys together and they both love bathtime! This is a funny video, but warning it contains bathtime weiners. HA! I just laughed typing that!

Bill and Easton went to a spring training game with his Bompa {Bill's dad} this week and had a lot of fun.

We had family fun at Costco and Easton loved his hot dog.

Easton turned 2!

Easton's birthday was a couple weeks ago and we had a great party on his special day! He is such a fun loving boy and was so excited to have all his grandparents and family at his house to play. He ran around from person to person showing them his new toys and had so much fun!

It was a turtle themed party since he LOVES turtles and I even found a turtle pinata. It was a tough one to break and Bill had to bust it open so the kiddos could have the treats.
This picture is awesome, the boys trying to break it with Nick's help and my mom's expression in the background... classic!
Check out my cake making skills... and Bill didn't drop the cake this year. I guess wearing a helmet for cake time is a necessity when you are 2.

First Week at Home

Asher has been such a great baby so far. He sleeps through everything even Easton's yelling and playing. He has the greatest colics in his hair and looks just like me when I was a baby. At first I was sad that he didn't look like Easton but now I love that he is so different. Asher burps like a man and loved his first bath.

He is definitely a cuddlebug and I hope it will last past the newborn stage like it did with Easton.

Easton is such a sweet big brother. He always wants Asher around and gives him kisses. He wants Asher to lay in bed with him or be in the bath together.

Work

So we are starting to work on potty training again and the other night I was helping Easton. He wants to go standing up so usually Bill does it to teach proper technique. Easton was standing there ready to go... and he is focusing so hard, he says "work, work". Ha! Love it!

He is here!

Asher Rowdy May made his appearance 2 days early on Sunday at 2 a.m. He is beautiful and we are so glad to have him in our family. I am especially glad to have him out of my belly!

He is 8 lbs, 8 oz and 20 inches long. He almost has thigh rolls already. He is a good eater and sleeper and kind of has a little temper. He goes from 0 to pissed very quickly, mainly about meal time.
Easton is doing great and says Asher's name so cute. He likes to have Asher on his lap and help me feed him. I love having my boys cuddle with me and get all emotional whenever I think about it.

Just cause he is cute!

I love this boy!
LOVES slides and is fearless. He always goes for the biggest ones.

If he doesn't have a shirt on, he figures no pants is the way to go too.

I know, I know

I can't believe how behind I am! No excuses but we have had a fun couple of months. Here is what we have been doing.

Bill landscaped our backyard. It looks amazing... the freeze really hurt our ficus trees but fingers crossed that they will come back. Yes that is a SWEET firepit... smores anyone?

We decorated the Christmas tree and Easton liked it for about 2 minutes. We had a great Christmas and we were all way too spoiled!! I even hide a few of Easton's gifts to bring out for his birthday. This video perfectly describes what life will be like with Easton at 2 years old and 16.

My older brother and his family came in town and we showed off our favorite place, Marley Farms. Easton had his first camel encounter.

My wonderful friends, Meagan and Elise, threw me a baby shower since I missed my last one with Easton. It was at Dave and Busters and I had a blast. Check me and Meag out on Dance, Dance Revolution... we were horrible.

Our sweet puppy had major knee surgery last week and we went up to Prescott for it for a better price. She is still recovering but I think she is doing a little better. While she was having her surgery we played around the town... there isn't much to do but we went to a lake for a walk. Easton LOVES turtles and was calling for them to "come here".

Easton saw his first snow too... there wasn't much but he liked touching it but it was really icy and he slipped all over the place. Okay, I think we are up to date. I am 37 weeks and feeling very ready to get this boy out! Only 2 more weeks!
